I led a workshop for SAS (Student Apparel Society @ Stout) today on using Prismacolor markers and colored pencils. I did the same workshop last year but barely anyone came (yet we still had fun!), so I was excited to see what would happen this year (since I'm on SAS executive board now, of course it will be BALLER!). It ended up being super satisfying on my end, because the girls there were actually interested in it, and one of them even told me "I'm so much more excited to do my homework now!" It was a little ray of sunshine in my life after TRUDGING around at the Devil's Punchbowl for biology class with my fave gen-ed teacher of all time Master.Knee (whose enchantment with bugs (a topic which I find mostly disgusting) makes me giggle) in the RAIN. I do love me some Devil's Punchbowl...however, HIKING around in my cute boots and tights isn't exactly my fave.
Anyways, Prisma went super well. I had some good questions and some great feedback. e.jo came a little after the start and good thing because I couldn't figure out the overhead machine!!! I got the projector to work but had no inclination of how to use the transparency dealie. SO I made my fairy do it. I'll have to reward her with some fairy niblets (aka fairy snacks, snacks for fairies)!
I was super intimated when I looked over and the current instructor for Line Development is sitting there observing. But I think I did ok. After all I'm so witty how could anyone not be charmed.
Then I gazed out the door while I was laughing at something (probably myself because hey I'm just that funny), and I see my new favorite lovely cute.d peeking around the corner. So I gave her a quick smile, just cause she loves me! She texted me telling me, "So cute teach!" so that warmed my heart a tiddle too. She was a'watchin' me like a proud mama bear!
So as I was cleaning up e.jo invited me to a little mexican retreat (aka margaritas!!). So I hit that up, had THEE most amazing taco salad, and now I'm gonna lay on the couch before a homework extravaganza.
I'll have to thank the neighbors for perfuming the hallway for my arrival. They're always doing that, such nice boys.
