I'm on lunch break in Cut & Sew. I finished my dress at about noon, and it isn't due until 1:30 (when we get back from lunch). So I decided a I'd update on yesterday.
First of all, beck is the proud owner of a brand spankin' new watermelon suit.
WATERMELON LADY TO THE RESCUE!
Moving on, we took a quiz and passed them two to the left and graded them. Not sure if I've told you all or not, but people can't read my handwriting. Not my fault. People think that my n's are r's. However, I don't make many letters lowercase. I make most of my letters in uppercase, and just change the size for upper and lower case. Yeah, be jealous, it's pretty awesome.
Well, my quiz was being graded and I actually had written "Panty line". It was read as "party line". Notice, however, that they read "line" correctly and did not say "lire". Proving that, in the end, I've outwitted the world.
This has happened before. ken.doll was trying to log onto our internet while I was in class. She didn't have her phone, and she kept writing an r instead of an n, writing "queer" instead of "queen". I don't use the word queer so she should have known better. That whole situation drives me nuts because she still brings it up as does her boyfriend, and I don't find it funny, I mostly find it annoying. So when the comment was made that I wrote "party line", my response was, "That's how I make my N's, but thanks for trying to tell me I did it wrong." I think I handled it quite well.
After the whole fiasco, I got this note from j.duddly:
It brought cheer to my life.
Strangely enough, during fit sessions, Friar Tuck showed up...
So that actually is e.jo, but when she put on her prototype I couldn't help myself. I busted out laughing and said, "Who invited the monk?!" Hence Friar Tuck was born.
So later I'll post pictures of shubbly wearing my finished dress. I haven't put it on her yet, but it's going to be STUNNER.
