My friends and I met up for a little thrifting and some lunch. It went rather well. Pendeja, Abers and I met at Vinny's (St. Vincent DePaul). There were various items found. In the beginning, before Pendeja arrived, Abers and I were perusing the movies. I was reading off names of movies and they were so ridiculous that Abers thought I was making them up. Little did she know I was and then I was using my magic wand to quickly stow them on the shelf. Here are two such films
I then tried on various hats
Also, we found this really CUTE and not DISGUSTING camo (yum) mesh (yummier) thong (not gross). I thought Pendeja would want it, but she didn't. JUST KIDDING. It was disgusting.
THEN, when we were leaving and after we had paid, we saw a gum ball machine that said "Get a white gum ball and receive a $3.00 store credit"
Of course I busted out a quarter and tried it out. I didn't get a white one, but instead received TWO gum balls. Pink and Blue. Abers was sad because she didn't have any quarters, so I lent one to her. She turned the crank and TWO. WHITE. GUM BALLS. Came FLYING out. We were so excited and flailing about, and in the midst of everything I yelled out "That's friendship and generosity, that's what that is!" So we repeated that all day.
We then headed on to lunch. It was a GRAND experience. We, of course, went to Holiday Kitchen for all you can eat soup, salad and bread. I forgot to take a picture with my fresh plate, but in this one you can see how delicious it is.
Also, I managed the slop salad dressing ALL OVER myself. So I quickly cleaned it up with my water. I mean you can't even tell...
After lunch we headed on over to Goodwill, where the only highlights include: finding a Simply Vera dress for Pendeja, original tags still attached for $3. Also, while perusing the purses, I found a cigarette in the bottom of a purse. WHAT?! What is wrong with that? It is normal and not a problem if a child purchased that purse.
