There was a Halloween sale at the store. I bought both nephews Ninja Backpacks. It went over well.
After a whirlwind two day Green Bay trip, I got home Sunday and set to work on my jacket muslin. Upon completion I detected a slight scratchiness in my throat and decided instead of staying up all night, I would go to bed and hopefully combat the illness. Well I woke up at 4AM with the most horrific sore throat of my life. I literally was in so much pain I could barely swallow my own saliva.
SO I drugged myself up with tylenol and went back to bed. I woke up four hours later with insane congestion. Like I'm telling you this stuff is thick. No good. So I straggled through my first class and then left early to go to Urgent Care to see if they had a cure. Well they didn't. And after waiting around for an hour, that wasn't what I really needed to hear. I wanted something good. Like a cough medicine to knock me out until the sickness passed. So I self-medicated with some Culvers. I love the packaging on these ketchup packets! SO CUTE!
So I went home and slept for three hours. I had intentions to get up and go to class at 4:30, but I definitely just got up and walked into my bedroom and fell asleep on my bed instead of staying on the couch where I was.
I proceeded to get up around 4:45PM and went to the pattern lab to attempt to finish my homework. Well I then forgot everything I could have needed so I had to go home and go back. I stopped at the store and got this medicine.
I was then informed that it looks like plant food and I will probably start sprouting leaves. As long as they aren't leaves filled with the PLAGUE, I'm okay with it.
It took me a a while but I got everything cut out and ready to pin, so I went home.
When I got here I really persevered and tried SO HARD to get things done, but I just couldn't do it. I ate some soup, and decided I'd just say I'm on the Mariah Carey soup diet instead of saying, "Hey I have the plague." It was getting later and later and I was literally shoving kleenex wads up my nose so my nose wouldn't run while I leaned over to sew. Not healthy. So I gave up and knocked myself out with my new meds.
Long story short, I'm not getting out of bed today. No way no how.
Also, the other day this was drawn on the white board in 353:
I photographed it only because I can't tell what it says. I feel like it SHOULD say "Fa la la la" but that DEFINITELY looks like "FL FA LA LA".
OMG I love those Culvers Ketchup packets!!
