Sketching Adventure Day

I'm working on my extended collection for my senior studio line. I needed to get out of the house and into some peace and quiet so I could focus. I recently discovered the sanctuary that is the Dunville Wildlife Area. There is some forest, prairie, swamp, river, beach, etc. Needless to say I drove on out there and set myself up on the beach. I took some of my collection photos on the beach earlier this week. All of my outdoor photos are in the area. I managed to get more sunburn, which isn't hard to believe. This skin barely even saw the winter sun.
It was literally gorgeous out.
Some of my photos were taken on a sand bar that is currently under water. You can't even tell it was there at all. I was pretty surprised when I walked up and it was completely submerged. I was also surprised by the annoying couple that ambled on up while I was sketching. My favorite thing I heard the girl say: "Is this salt water?!"
Oh, hey is that your capri sun? Or, as my grandpa calls them, capri delights. OR, as he also calls them, shiny bag things. This is my life.
