So I'm really busy doing my homework. And by doing my homework I mean eating these Berry Blast Oreos I found in my pantry and watching American Pickers. OH, also, just for fun, I am blowing my nose. Not because I have to or because I am constantly sick, because I want to just for fun.
Update: I ate myself into a food coma that also resulted in a gas explosion over Thanksgiving. I also continued to eat more left overs the next day and perpetuated the cycle of not being able to move.
Then I insisted that I spend Saturday first going to all-you-can-eat soup, salad and bread at Holiday Kitchen, then going to Breaking Dawn Part 1, and then going out to eat again at Gina Marie's that evening. It is okay to have your life revolve around food. That is not a problem and no one should make you feel bad if you can't stop dining out. Also, no one should oppress you if you feel like maybe you need to eat an entire loaf of bread at Holiday Kitchen.
Side note: if you are a waitress, do not walk up to a table and consta-smack your gum and say "What can I getcha?" Just don't. You won't get a tip. And you know that if I don't leave a tip, the service was horrible. I always sympathize with waitstaff. But not when they are stupid and bring half your meal and no drinks and then abandon you for forty-five minutes. Also, if you are a hostess, do not THROW menus onto the table and then storm off before the guests even have time to say thank you. Also, do not do this to EVERY table. That doesn't work. That makes people angry. It also makes them assume you are a loser who is unhappy with your job and or slash life.
Moving on: Black Friday. Great day. I purchased the following things:
An American Tale
Fievel Goes West
What's Eating Gilbert Grape (double feature with "Nick of Time" which I've never seen)
Camp Nowhere (Double feature with some weird dinosaur movie)
Roseanne Fan Favorites
Camcorder
A pair of boots
I also got a free snow globe.
It was quite possibly the most successful Black Friday I've had. Of course we blew threw all four stores (so many stores! gotta love Iron Mountain) in like three hours, which gave us ample time to hit up the Pizza Hut for a delicious luncheon.
We then went home and did the annual N*sync Christmas CD listening circle and cookie baking extravaganza. My back may have been sore afterward, I'm not going to lie to you. I stayed in until the last quarter though, I usually dip out and have to lie down before it's over, but I persevered this time. We've got some baller cookies awaiting our consumption.
Let me just comment that I cannot wait until Christmas. I've got some great gifts for the fam and I'm excited for them to open said prezzies. Also, I'm thoroughly exhausted from being sick with such intensity. I was totally fine for only the five days I was in New Orleans. Immediately upon return I was sick. Thank you very much. Also: please be jealous.
