I have been trying to sew this sleeveless bodice for 3 days. And just today I've been trying to figure it out for 4 hours. Thankfully, I have distracted myself with sewing other pieces of this outfit I'm working on, however, everything is due tomorrow and I. AM. GOING. TO. SHRED. THE WHOLE. THING. I can't figure it out.
First of all, it looks like shit because I've tried so many different techniques (none of which worked of course) and it's wrinkled as hell. I pressed it for half an hour and it still looks like crap. I refuse to recut it because that would be a waste.
Second of all, I'm sick, so my snot is running all over the damn thing in my attempt to sew it.
Third: I am not one to give up. HOWEVER, I want to with every ounce of my being because it is so impossible! Not to mention I feel like a dumb ass because I can't wrap my brain around it.
This is the first break I've taken and I'm trying not to let it turn into me just dropping the whole damn thing (and burning it) and going to bed. Because my head is pounding, I can't breathe, and my life sucks. I'm sure I've been this frustrated before, but I can't remember because I'm so caught up in this stupid piece of crap.
On a brighter note, and to take my mind off things for three point seven seconds, today it was brought to my attention that I was one of the only people who apparently has the parking lady's schedule figured out. Just so everyone knows, the times she visits the meters outside 3rd floor Heritage Hall (to the best of my knowledge) are 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm. It's usually give or take up to 15 minutes. However, I still get tickets sometimes, so don't put all your faith in me. Usually it is because I forget to fill the meter around the correct time, or because I am lazy and just decide I won't put money in that day. OR is it because she's so darn sneaky!? It remains to be seen.
Moving on.
The J.lou express is rolling into town tomorrow. I'm utterly excited. The weekend proves to have a great line-up of activities, including but not limited to: buffalo party mix, Water for Elephants, Titanic, buffalo chicken nachos, Pizza Hut buffalo wings, (are you sensing a theme?) hot melty sandwiches, chinese food, spinach dip, wine, cheese, christmas music, possibly goodwill or savers?, candle messes, lounging, and a SURPRISE snack I have planned. As you can see, we will not be hungry at any time.
I. CANNOT. WAIT.
Also, I will have to do homework blah blah.
